I just want to thank you for introducing me to your wonderful Gemcare! I use it not only for my rings, but for a very special necklace I wear constantly. It's a diamond locket on a popcorn chain. We may not notice it, but the chains do get dirty from having perfume oils, body lotion, general wear, etc. I never realize how dirty mine is until I've cleaned it! I once had it cleaned in a jewelry store I had stopped at, and they must have used an ammonia solution in their ultrasonic cleaner. I know the sales associate didn't rinse it off, but rather just patted it dry with a paper towel. I could still smell the ammonia on it when I put it back on, and it wasn't completely dry. Within 10 minutes I started itching around where the chain laid. Later in the evening, I had a wicked chemical burn all the way around my throat where the chain was touching my skin! It took about two weeks for that to go away, so I'm very cautious about my cleaning solutions. Gemcare is a vegetable based, organic cleaning solution that smells just heavenly. I never worry about my sensitive skin when I use it, and it doesn't stink like some of them do. I highly recommend it.
